We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Rotherham.
This is a hands-on maintenance role, working across electrical systems, machinery and production equipment. You will be responsible for breakdowns, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role:

Electrical fault finding and repairs
Planned preventative maintenance
Working with 3-phase motors and variable speed drives
Fault finding on PLC control systems
Diagnosing and repairing plant and machinery
Working closely with production teams
Identifying ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime
Completing maintenance records and paperwork
Working safely and following site procedures
You will need:
Electrical engineering qualification or relevant experience
At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong electrical fault-finding skills

Experience with PLC control systems

Experience with motors and drives
Ability to read engineering drawings
Good problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and proactive approach
Mechanical maintenance experience would be an advantage.
