As a Junior Accounts Assistant- Processing purchase ledger invoices.
- Maintaining the sales ledger.
- Assisting with credit control activities.
- Completing bank reconciliations.
- Processing employee expenses.
- Supporting the wider finance team with transactional accounting duties.
- Providing general administrative support within the finance function.
I’m looking for candidates with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in accounting. Previous experience isn't essential, as full training will be provided.
You’ll ideally have:- A keen interest in finance and accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (desirable but not essential).
- AAT studier or graduate (advantageous not essential).
- A recent graduate looking for their first role in finance.
- Someone seeking an entry‑level position within an accounts team.
- An individual studying AAT or looking to begin their AAT qualification.
