An established international professional services business is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function through an exciting period of transformation. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in modernising the finance function, improving reporting, driving automation and ensuring the business is well positioned for its next phase of growth.

This is a hands on leadership role requiring someone who can operate strategically whilst remaining close to the detail when needed.

Key Responsibilities Lead the finance function, providing strategic and operational financial leadership. Drive finance transformation, improving processes, controls and reporting. Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability. Develop the finance team, creating a high-performing function capable of supporting future growth. Enhance budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning. Deliver meaningful commercial insight to support business decisions. Strengthen governance, controls and financial compliance across the business.

Partner with the executive leadership team on strategic initiatives. Support acquisition activity, due diligence and M&A projects where required. About You You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous experience operating at CFO or Finance Director level. You'll bring: A proven background leading finance transformation programmes. Experience improving finance functions through automation and process improvement. Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing successful finance teams.

Excellent commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience operating within growing, complex or international businesses. Exposure to acquisitions, due diligence or M&A activity would be highly desirable. A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic leadership and operational delivery.
