Chief Financial Officer

Chief Financial Officer – UK Thame 1to1 Group are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. In this role you will take ownership of the monthly management accounting and reporting processes of a well-established business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and have experience communicating with various stakeholders and departments. To prepare and submit monthly management accounts within the month end timetable To ensure that all journal entries are posted in accordance with accounting standards Take full ownership of the budgeting and forecasting processes To challenge data and recommend actions to secure improvements Ensure that balance sheet positions are fully reconciled and supported Manage all treasury and cash related activities Full ownership of asset management and improve working capital cycles To be the main contact for audit queries and take full ownership of the quarterly, half year end and year end audit closures To handle vast quantities of data and interrogate the ERP system to better support commercial and financial decision making Help exert control over inventory movement Report on cost accounting and margin delivery by product category Oversee all of the HR activities of the company including payroll and benefits Ensuring compliance of legal, tax, administrative and social obligations To ensure processes are clearly documented and to recommend improvements To present the financial results of the company along with prioritised actions at monthly management meetings To manage and mentor a small finance team and develop and guide with confidence Required skills, qualifications and attributes: A strong analytical mindset with strong financial modelling skills Confident and precise in communication with a results’ driven attitude

Experience of manufacturing and engineering environments Qualified accountant (ACMA/ACCA/ACA) with the ability and knowledge of working within reporting cycles Knowledge and experience of group/international accounting would be desirable Proven record of asset management experience is essential Must be prepared to challenge and steer performance with confidence Benefits:
