Compliance Manager - FTC

Compliance Manager - 12 Month FTC Specialist Insurance Business | London | Hybrid Harrison Holgate is working with a specialist insurance business to recruit a Compliance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a broad and hands-on compliance role, supporting the General Counsel, Head of Legal and Compliance in managing the organisation's compliance framework and ensuring adherence to regulatory, legal and internal policy requirements.

The Role
* Maintain and develop the compliance monitoring programme and framework.
* Provide regulatory advice and guidance to the business.
* Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation of regulatory change.
* Oversee financial crime compliance, including AML, sanctions, KYC, ABC and fraud prevention.
* Support regulatory submissions, notifications and interactions with regulators.
* Conduct compliance risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
* Support compliance projects, including GDPR, policy reviews and regulatory change.
* Investigate compliance incidents, breaches and complaints and oversee remediation.
* Support compliance training and awareness programmes.
* Prepare MI and reports for senior management, risk committees and boards.
* Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections. About You
* Strong knowledge of FCA and insurance market regulatory requirements.
* Experience with in insurance broking, MGA, delegated authority or financial services compliance.
* Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, KYC, financial crime, conduct risk and data protection.
* London Market insurance experience would be advantageous.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels.
* Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Experience drafting policies, procedures, regulatory submissions and compliance reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a pragmatic and commercially minded Compliance professional looking for a broad, hands-on role within the London insurance market
