Personal Care Assistant

Personal Care Assistant required in the Moorgate S60 area of Rotherham.

Position: 2 Personal Care Assisters.

Working hours:

Flexible, 32 hours for Position 1 and 30 hours for Position
2. Possible nights.

Driving licence essential.

Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour.

• Accompany and support the gentleman in accessing the community and encouraging participation.
• Help plan and suggest activities outside the home.
• Take a proactive approach in all aspects of the role.
• Provide personal care, including encouragement and prompting with dressing if required.
• Meal and drink preparation.
• General light household duties may be required on occasion.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Liaise with colleagues and family to discuss any relevant concerns.

• Can work under own initiative.
• Experience supporting an individual with challenging behaviour is desirable; training will be provided.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, flexible, with a positive attitude and calm manner.
• Possess clear and concise communication skills.
• Driver licence essential.
• DBS check required; expense paid by employer.
