Senior Physiotherapist (Rotherham, S64 5UW
/ Rotherham, S61 1AJ
) – Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday). 50/50 split between Potters Green and Fairwinds care homes. Rate: £41,030 per annum.

Potters Green and Fairwinds are part of Exemplar Health Care, a leading provider of nursing care for adults with complex and high acuity needs. We support adults with complex mental health needs, dementia, neuro‑disabilities including acquired brain injuries, Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, and physical health needs.

Our Senior Physiotherapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions to support people to maintain optimal muscle function, limit/delay deterioration, and regain movement and mobility where possible. You’ll work as part of a wider Clinical Team to create person‑centred care and rehabilitation plans that maintain and build people’s abilities, support them to achieve their physiotherapy goals and evaluate outcomes.

• Responsible for a clinical caseload
• Work alongside the people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliver person‑centred physiotherapy interventions
• Collaborate closely with the Therapy Team (Occupational Therapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators)
• Carry out assessments
• Maintain accurate records for people receiving physiotherapy
• Promote choice, dignity and independence

You are someone who has:

• A thorough understanding of physiotherapy best practice
• The ability to demonstrate an excellent range of physiotherapy interventions and treatments
• A kind and caring approach
• A sense of humour and fun
• Lots of enthusiasm to encourage and motivate others
• Creative thinking and sound organisational skills
• Great listening and communication skills
• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy and HCPC registered
