Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Rotherham. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team.

The role

As Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, you will deliver wheelchair services to the highest clinical and ethical standards. You will provide training and supervision to students, less experienced colleagues and service users.

Key duties.

• Identifying and prescribing appropriate equipment from an agreed matrix based on growing clinical knowledge and experience to meet the Service User's clinical needs and their agreed aims & objectives
• Leading the wheelchair team in agreed area of speciality
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) at all levels to ensure the most appropriate and effective treatment for service users
