Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for a Site Mechanical Chargehand for a permanent position based with our client the Rotherham.

Immediate star available (subject to interview process)

Rate of pay is 18.71 per hour (First 39 hours Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Willingness to work away from home (inc. overnight)
• Liaising with customer, supplier and contractors' contacts
• Lead, guide and supervise a small team of workers to accomplish daily tasks and projects
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members according to their skills and competencies whilst completing own tasks
• Monitor the efficient use of resources such as materials, tools, and equipment
• Ensure that all team members are following company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
• Serve as a liaison between team members and management, relaying important information and updates
• Address concerns, conflicts, and issues within the team and escalate to higher management when necessary

Key Points

• Site Installation experience preferable
• Mechanical Fitter Experience is essential, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
• To be an Acceptor or equivalent to accept permits on customer sites
• Desire to run jobs and report to Site management
• Training given to be MEWP / TH driver
• Additional training will be provided to allow for successful integration into role where necessary
• Hold a full clean UK Driving Licence
