Domestic Cleaner

We are currently recruiting Domestic Support staff to cover staff sickness at a nursing home in Rotherham, providing essential cleaning support to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment.

Location:
Rawmarsh, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S62

Hours:
08 30
5 days per week
Flexibility required weekdays and weekends on a rota basis

Pay Rate:
£12.65 per hour

Contract:
ASAP start
Ongoing cover until Tuesday 31/03/2026

Key Duties:

• General and deep cleaning in line with cleaning schedules

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control

• Safe use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment (COSHH compliant)

• Reporting any faults or issues promptly

• Working respectfully within a care environment, maintaining residents dignity and privacy

Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required for immediate start

• Previous cleaning/domestic experience (care or similar environments desirable)

• Good understanding of health & safety and infection control

• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
