We are recruiting for an FLT Driver on behalf of our client who is a leading manufacturer in the Rotherham area. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, this growing business offers a stable working environment and excellent opportunities for development within the production and packaging sector. You will report directly into the Shift Manager, and your duties will include:

  • Operate FLTs (counterbalance and reach trucks) to safely load and unload lorries.
  • Check delivery paperwork and dispatch documentation for accuracy.
  • Ensuring all customer orders are picked, checked, labelled correctly, and dispatched on time.
  • Carrying out daily FLT safety checks and adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Working closely with warehouse and transport teams to maintain efficient warehouse operations and accurate stock movement.

The successful FLT Driver will have:

  • A valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
  • Previous experience operating Reach Truck FLTs.
  • Excellent accuracy when counting, checking, and handling stock.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience checking paperwork, shipping labels, and order details to ensure accurate dispatches.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a FLT Driver, Dispatch Operative, Goods In Operative, Goods Out Operative or a Warehouse Operative within a manufacturing or production environment.

Easily accessible for candidates living in or around the Rotherham, Sheffield or Barnsley area. This role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Upon successful transition to a permanent position, benefits may include:

  • Competitive hourly rate up to £13.46 per hour.
  • Days/ Mornings, between 6am – 8pm (shift can vary depending on workload).
