We are seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team at Wingfield Academy. This role involves providing high‑quality meals to pupils and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming dining environment.
Responsibilities- Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
- Supporting the delivery of an efficient and fast‑paced catering service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
- Cleaning food preparation areas, kitchens and associated spaces to the required standards.
- Working as part of a dedicated team.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has a positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
- Takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
- Understands the importance of food hygiene and cleanliness.
A Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is desirable; however, training will be available for the right candidate who is willing to achieve this qualification.
