Service Supervisor

Personnel Selection is pleased to be working alongside this fantastic SME Engineering business, with a depot in Rotherham. We are recruiting for a Service Supervisor on a permanent and full time basis.

• Strong mechanical background (hydraulics, diesel engines, plant or similar)
• Proven experience in the service and repair of industrial or plant equipment
• Full driving licence, as there will be some off‑site work involved
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Experience in a supervisory / team leader role is desirable

• Carry out service, repair, fault finding, and refurbishment of hire fleet equipment
• Prepare and inspect units before and after hire, ensuring reliability and safety
• Lead by example in the workshop, setting the standard for quality of work and productivity
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and engine‑related faults
