Overview

Head of Regeneration needed in Rotherham Paying £600 per day B 2829

Full time hours on a temporary basis

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Regeneration to lead the development and delivery of a diverse regeneration programme that will shape the future of our communities and places.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving transformational regeneration, economic growth, housing delivery, town centre renewal, placemaking, and infrastructure investment. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop strong partnerships, and ensure the successful delivery of high-profile projects that generate lasting social, environmental, and economic benefits.

Working closely with elected members, senior leadership, developers, investors, government agencies and local stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering the organisation s vision for sustainable growth and regeneration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning, development and delivery of regeneration programmes and projects.
  • Identify and secure investment opportunities, external funding and development partnerships.
  • Develop and implement regeneration strategies aligned to corporate objectives and local priorities.
  • Oversee major development schemes, town centre regeneration initiatives, housing-led projects and public realm improvements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with developers, investors, consultants, local communities and public sector partners.
  • Lead negotiations on complex development and regeneration projects.
  • Manage project budgets, business cases, risk management processes and governance arrangements.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders, elected members and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing regeneration team.
