An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Fostering Rotherham as a Fostering Team Manager – Supervisory.

As Team Manager, you will lead a team of supervising social workers who work alongside foster carers to provide safe, stable and nurturing homes for children and young people. You will be responsible for providing professional leadership, reflective supervision and management oversight, ensuring that foster carers receive higher quality support and that children achieve the best possible outcomes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated leader who shares our commitment to relationship-based practice. You will work closely with foster carers, children, partner agencies and colleagues across Children’s Services to promote placement stability, strengthen fostering families and continually improve the experience of children in our care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Manager or a aspiring leader looking for the next step in their career. You will join a supportive and experienced management team where collaboration, professional curiosity and shared learning are actively encouraged.
Working as an integral member of the management team, you will have a sound knowledge of fostering legislation, regulations, guidance and standards. Previous experience of fostering and supervising foster carers is essential.
