The Office Lead will provide senior operational and people leadership across the office function, ensuring teams, customer accounts, and cross-functional priorities are coordinated effectively to support service delivery, business performance, and continuous improvement.
This role sits at the heart of the business, turning customer requirements and operational priorities into clear actions across the office function. The Office Lead will report directly to our Chief Operating Officer (COO), and will maintain visibility of workloads, service commitments, account activity, and team capacity to ensure work is prioritised effectively and issues are escalated or resolved promptly.
Through regular communication with internal stakeholders, the role supports consistent service delivery, informed decision-making, and practical improvements to office processes, reporting, and customer support.
- Accountable for day-to-day office effectiveness, team performance, workload planning, operational administration standards, and customer account oversight.
- Drives cross-functional alignment between Sales, Business Development, Logistics, Operations, Account Management, and senior leadership.
- Contribute to business planning, operational reporting, recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide direct line management for the Operations Administration team and Account Managers.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members to maximise performance and support career progression.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations and ensure accountability across both functions.
- Manage workload allocation, resource planning, and team priorities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning activities.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performing culture.
- Manage employee relations, attendance, conduct, and performance matters in line with company policies.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficient and effective business processes.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of customer requirements, service commitments, and operational priorities.
- Ensure the Operations Administration team provides accurate and timely administrative support to the business.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement procedures that improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
- Support business planning and operational reporting for senior management.
- Maintain oversight of customer accounts and service delivery across the business.
- Support Account Managers in maintaining strong customer relationships and driving account retention and growth.
- Ensure customer expectations are understood, communicated, and delivered across all departments.
- Act as an escalation point for customer issues and service concerns.
- Promote a proactive and customer-centric approach across the team.
- Act as the central point of coordination between Sales, Business Development, Logistics, Operations, Account Management, and senior leadership teams.
