Production Supervisor

Job Role: Production Supervisor

Location: Rotherham

Salary: 37,000 - 38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturer, who are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team.

Job Duties:

• Supervise, lead and motivate all employees within own team to achieve daily targets
• Conduct daily shift meetings
• Oversee daily shift activities and monitor performance
• Work closely with the Operations manager and other members of the senior team to continually develop strategies
• Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Planning, scheduling and reviewing workload to ensure production output, quality and on time delivery targets are achieved
• Deal with absences, grievances, disciplinaries and other HR duties
• Implementation and adherence to Health and Safety procedures encouraging "safety first" culture

Job Requirements:

• 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or production management role
• Hold relevant engineering qualifications
• Knowledge of CNC Turning and Milling (essential)
• Experience of automation and machine tools

Salary, Shift & Benefits:

• 37,000 - 38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm & Friday 8:30am - 3pm (flexi hours available)
