Due to an increase in orders, we are proud to be seeking a experienced Pattern Maker to join our rapidly expanding Rotherham based manufacturer on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Pattern Makeryou will be reporting into the Supervisor and will be responsible for working as part of a small close-knit team in a prestige environment. Day to day duties will include:

• Assembling and preparing patterns for the ceramic mould department.
• Operating 3D sand printing machine.
• Cleaning and preparing products for casting 3D sand printed moulds.
• Ensuring all patterns have been measured by the CMM department prior to assembly.
• Transferring tool paths to CNC machines in the Pattern shop and manufacturing parts.
• Raising NCR's when required.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated prior to use.

As a Pattern Maker you will be required to:

• Use cutting and measuring equipment.
• Have a positive and eager attitude towards learning new things.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.
• Read from engineering drawings to interpret customer requirements.

This role would suit someone with experience working as a Pattern Maker or Pattern Engineer within a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment. As full training can be provided our client is also keen to hear from Graduates, Joiners, Carpenters and CNC Operators / Machinists who are looking to take their career in a different direction.

• Shift times include; AM shift is Mon - Thurs 6am - 2pm Fri 5am - 1pm
