CNC Machinist (Turner)
£38,000 - £40,000 + Rotation 4 day week/ 5 day week + Bonus + Overtime + Company Benefits
Location:
Rotherham (Commutable from Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Worksop, Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford, Leeds)

As a CNC Machinist (Turner) you will program, set and operate CNC lathes, working closely with the Rolling Production Manager and within a small Tool Room team. You’ll support production, own the process and help produce high‑quality precision tooling.
Responsibilities- Programme, set and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision tooling.
- Produce rolls from raw billet through to finished product, including inspection and quality checks.
- Create and amend CNC programs and produce 2D CAD drawings.
- Work rotating shifts – week 1: 6am-2pm / week 2: 2pm-midnight.
- Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
- Able to edit and ideally create CNC programs (Mazatrol experience advantageous).
