Sheffield

£39,672 + excellent benefits

If you're an experienced CNC Turner who enjoys precision engineering and takes pride in producing high-quality work, this could be an excellent opportunity to take your career further.

You'll join a growing manufacturer that invests in its people as much as its technology. Working with modern CNC Turning Centres, you'll manufacture complex aerospace components while developing your skills through ongoing training and support from an experienced engineering team.

You'll have the opportunity to work with specialist materials including Titanium, Inconel and Nickel alloys, producing safety-critical components to exceptionally high standards. As your experience grows, you'll be encouraged to develop your technical expertise, take on increasingly complex work and progress your career.

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from a Medicash Health Plan, company pension and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both inside and outside of work.

What you'll be doing

As part of a collaborative manufacturing team, you'll:

  • Set and operate CNC Turning Centres to produce precision aerospace components.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure components meet exact specifications and quality standards.
  • Manufacture complex, safety-critical parts to tight tolerances.
  • Continuously develop your machining skills through structured training and exposure to advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality, continuous improvement and teamwork.
What we're looking for

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • A completed engineering apprenticeship and/or time‑served machining experience.
  • Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.
  • A good understanding of precision engineering and working to tight tolerances.
  • Pride in producing quality work and a willingness to keep learning and developing.
