Rolling Mill Operator

£15.83p/h, Monday to Thursday, 4 day working week days and nights, Temp to perm, Weekly pay,
Increased holidays after 12 weeks, training and development opportunities, Rotherham S60, Annual bonus, premium overtime available.

In partnership with a Rotherham based steel manufacturing business we are currently recruiting for a number of individuals to work within the Rolling Mill. They are a global business supplying steel products into the oil and gas industry.

Reporting into the Production Manager, your day-to-day duties include:

• Set and operate rolling mill equipment.
• Set and adjust tooling.
• Report machine faults.
• Complete production paperwork.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.

This role would suit someone who has worked previously on a Rolling Mill, within heat treatment, steel works, foundry or heavy engineering environment. The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working on or around a rolling mill.
• Experience of demonstrating they are mechanically minded or worked within a mechanically biased roll.
• A methodical approach to work.

• Mon – Thurs 6am – 4pm, Mon – Thurs 8pm – 6am weekly rotation.
