Full-time, Permanent Working Pattern: 3 shifts (Mornings / Afternoons / Nights) Salary: £38,000
Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust production machinery accurately for both personal and team use Operate machine tools within a cell-based production environment to meet delivery targets Identify and report tooling or equipment issues promptly to supervisors or relevant teams Ensure machinery runs efficiently to maximise productivity and output Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and specifications Support 5S and TPM principles to maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workplace Promote awareness of quality expectations and professional working standards Work with Quality Engineers to investigate and reduce scrap and rework Collaborate with Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineers to improve process efficiency Support the training and development of apprentices and new team members Maintain a positive, professional, and proactive work ethic Health, Safety & Compliance Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and promptly report any concerns Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures relating to risk management Maintain full compliance with equality and diversity standards, ensuring a respectful and inclusive working environment Work safely within a controlled manufacturing environment, wearing all required PPE Skills & Experience Required Time-served Engineering Apprentice or equivalent qualification (preferred) Minimum 2 years’ machining experience within a manufacturing environment CNC machining experience is highly desirable Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments Good organisational and machine setting abilities Experience supporting or mentoring others (including apprentices) advantageous Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and professional approach Why Apply?
