Turning Programmer​/Setter​/Operator

Position : CNC Machinist / Turning Salary: up to £20.40 - £22.80 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime at time and a half and benefits

Hours:

Monday to Thursday - afternoon shift (14:45 - 24:00 - 37 hours)

Responsibilities This is a rare and exciting role, forming part of a new and dedicated ‘multi skilled’ machining team.

This team are to cover the operating of a range of machines including turning, milling, deburring, lapping, grinding and more! We only require those who have experience of one of these areas as training will be provided on all others. You will only be required to work 4 afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday, 2.45pm to midnight, and be paid a good and competitive salary with the potential for more with overtime paid at x1.5 and progression within this growing company! Training does involve you working a day shift (6am - 3pm) Monday to Friday until signed off to transfer to the Late shift.

Operate a range of machines Work via instructions and drawings Working to tight tolerances Meeting deadlines for batches produced Communicate with other team members and work together as a team Requirements Experience in a similar industry/role, ideally in a machining environment Any one of the following experience is required; milling, turning, deburring, grinding, lapping etc. Willing and happy to work a permanent afternoon shift Monday to Thursday Be proactive and a great team player.
