Quality Engineer

£40,000 p/a, Rotherham, Permanent, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, monthly bonus scheme, free car parking, bonus schemes, excellent development opportunities, 9% pension contribution.

Due to securing multiple new contracts, our client based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a full time permanent basis. With an extremely healthy order book this an incredibly exciting time to be joining this business. • Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, investigating quality issues and coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Assist with internal, customer, and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality standards.
• Liaise with production, engineering, and purchasing departments to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous process improvements.
• Prepare and distribute quality documentation packs, including inspection reports, material certificates, and compliance documentation for customers.
• Monitor product quality throughout the casting process, supporting root cause analysis and ensuring products met customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Process and manage product concession requests for non-conforming castings, ensuring all approvals were obtained before release.

This role would suit someone who has previous Quality experience working within the automotive, aerospace or medical industry or within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks or castings environment.
