Location:

Rotherham Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to motor factors, garages, franchise networks and public services throughout the UK and Ireland. Our strategically designed network, supported by acquisitions, positions us as a market leader in providing automotive parts distribution services to the aftermarket. Supported by a top-tier logistics network comprising over 300 local stores, 20 Regional Distribution Centres, our state-of-the-art 1 million square foot National Distribution Centre, and a workforce of over 6,000 colleagues, our business model prioritises maintaining an extensive and readily available product range to uphold the quality of our service offerings.

The Quality Product Analysis Specialist plays a critical role within the Technical & Quality Centre by conducting in-depth inspections, diagnostic testing, and root cause analysis of returned automotive components. This position ensures that warranty claims are assessed accurately and consistently while supporting overall product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working across a broad range of systems—including turbochargers, braking components, suspension units, clutches, and rotating electrics (alternators and starters)—the specialist applies advanced mechanical and electrical expertise to determine failure causes, verify product performance against factory specifications, and differentiate between manufacturing defects and usage‑related issues.

The role combines hands‑on technical evaluation with detailed digital reporting and cross‑functional collaboration. Using specialised testing equipment and precision measuring tools, the specialist generates comprehensive inspection reports, documents findings with photographic evidence, and supports warranty decision‑making in alignment with company policies and regulatory standards. Beyond technical capability, the position requires strong analytical thinking and a methodical, investigative mindset. The Quality Product Analysis Specialist acts as a key liaison between warranty administration, customer service, and manufacturing partners—clearly communicating technical findings to ensure timely and fair claim resolution.

This role is essential in safeguarding product integrity, improving quality performance, and maintaining customer confidence through accurate, data‑driven analysis and professional technical expertise.

  • Warranty Claim Assessment:
Review and assess warranty claims in accordance with company policies, determining validity and identifying potential manufacturing or usage defects.
  • Digital Reporting & Documentation:
