Book Department Volunteer (Home and Fashion Superstore)
We’re looking for enthusiastic people to price, organise and display our wide range of donated books in our charity shop. Create exciting and eye‑catching displays and inspire others to pick up a book.
Eligibility:
Volunteers must be 17 years old or older and have no unspent criminal convictions. This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Typical tasks include:
- Keeping the book department fully stocked with a fresh selection of donated books
- Sorting out donations of books
- Following guidelines to value and price donated books
- Identifying rare and collectible books for online selling
- Lifting and carrying books where required
