Trainee Mortgage Advisor

OTE £35k

Connells Group is looking for a Trainee Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our successful team in our William H Brown Rotherham’s branch. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional looking to build a long‑term career in financial services. No mortgage experience is required, but you must have a strong background in sales and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers and Estate Agency colleagues.
  • Generate new business and maximise referral opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of mortgage and protection products through structured training.
  • Support customers throughout their home‑buying journey.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working towards performance targets.
  • Progress towards becoming a fully qualified Mortgage & Protection Advisor.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivated, ambitious and career‑focused.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
  • Organised, resilient and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
