Salary: £36,000 basic (Negotiable, DOE). Hours of work: 37.5 hours Mon‑Fri 7.30am‑4pm;
Fri 7.30am‑1pm.

We have invested over £3 million in state‑of‑the‑art facilities and deliver apprenticeships in welding & fabrication since 2006. The role involves delivering the L3 Plate Welder apprenticeship and supporting continuous professional development of the academy team.

• Assist in delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to apprentices.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new apprentices.
• Instruct and train apprentices in various welding & fabrication techniques.
• Assess apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards with respect.
• Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

• Strong & competent welder/fabricator with MIG & TIG skills.
• Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company will pay).
• Ability to work effectively and use own initiative.
• Ability to lead, manage and train others to achieve desired results.
• Fully conversant with welding, fabrication and reading engineering drawings.

Site based in Rotherham.
