Commercial Gas Engineer – Rotherham, UK

Location: Rotherham, UK –
Hours: 40 hrs per week (Mon‑Fri)

Job overview: JLL is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive activities across commercial premises on our Rolls‑Royce contract in Rotherham.

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on a variety of commercial premises.
• Assist with reactive and PPM tasks and core combustion activities.
• Use own initiative and proactive approach to undertake all tasks.
• Participate in the call‑out rota and work out of hours when required.

• Domestic and commercial gas experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial fault‑finding and rectification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of major manufacturers (Valliant Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi‑Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, Worcester, etc.) and domestic appliances.
• Relevant gas qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good plumbing skills and good combustion skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, flexible approach to work and clients’ requirements.
• Good organisational skills and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of heating systems with controls/BMS desirable.
