Hours: 21 hours per week over agreed days, including one evening where required.
Contract: One-year fixed term.

Rothacs is looking for a qualified Counsellor to join our specialist, trauma-informed service supporting adults and young people aged 13+ who live or work in Rotherham and have experienced physical, sexual, domestic or child abuse.
This is a meaningful opportunity to work as part of a supportive and values-led team, providing safe, ethical and client-centred counselling. You will manage a counselling caseload, undertake initial assessments, respond to safeguarding and risk issues, maintain accurate records, and work in line with the BACP Ethical Framework, Rothacs policies and relevant legislation.
We are looking for someone with a counselling diploma, registered membership of BACP, UKCP or another recognised professional body, and at least one year’s post‑qualification counselling experience. You will bring a strong understanding of trauma, abuse, safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries and anti‑oppressive practice.
