Software Engineer

Our client is a global leader in advanced engineering solutions, and they’re expanding their Technology team with a passionate Software Engineer who’s ready to make an impact. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing the software that powers the world‑class industrial products. You will:

• Develop clean, maintainable, well‑structured software using best‑practice coding standards
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Software, Technology, Production, and our international offices
• Contribute throughout the full product development lifecycle—from concept and prototype to verification and launch
• Identify new research and innovation opportunities and help turn these into real solutions
• Produce clear requirements documentation and technical specifications
• Support the smooth transition of new software projects into full-scale production
• Ensure all work aligns with business strategy and customer expectations

• C# development experience in a commercial environment
• A proactive, detail‑oriented approach to identifying and solving problems
• Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• 3+ years’ commercial software development experience
• HND/Degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Interest in Dev Ops tools (Team City, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
• Experience with SQL Server, Postgre

• Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
• Understanding of domain‑driven design, design patterns and development best practices
• Ability to create clear technical documentation
• Embedded development in C++ or C (Linux)
• Occasional international travel availability
• Strong communication skills, including with customers and suppliers
