Software Engineer, .NET Developer, Backend Developer

Software Engineer (C# .NET) | Rotherham | Hybrid | Up to £50,000

We're recruiting for a Software Engineer to join a global organisation currently undertaking a significant digital transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a blend of application modernisation, systems integration, and cloud-based development projects within a highly collaborative engineering team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in rebuilding and modernising business-critical applications using the latest Microsoft technologies, while also helping to integrate SAP with modern C# applications and enterprise systems.

• Rewriting and modernising legacy applications using C# .NET Core
• Developing and enhancing web-based applications with Angular
• Integrating SAP with modern business applications and services
• Designing, building, and maintaining APIs and backend services
• Working within Azure and Azure Dev Ops environments
• Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver innovative digital solutions

• Commercial experience with C# and .NET Core
• Experience developing web-based applications
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Angular
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP

• Salary up to £50,000
• Hybrid working model – 3 days per week in Rotherham
