Hours of work: Full time, 48 hours weekly

HW Martin Waste Ltd manages a variety of waste and recyclable materials for households and businesses, right across the UK. We are looking for a HGV Driver Class 1 or 2 to drive and operate RORO and Articulated Walking Floor vehicles, collecting from our own sites and disposing of waste at various tipping points.

The ideal candidate will:

• Drive and operate HGV vehicle in line with tachograph laws
• Pre inspect vehicle, report any defects in a timely manner for rectification
• Complete relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any damage in line with company procedure

• Ability to work under own initiative
• Full training will be given
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude
• HGV Driving License
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferable
• A reasonable level of competency of the English Language (speaking, reading and writing) and basic arithmetic.
