Hours

Up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekend availability

Role Overview

Deliver mail and parcels using a Royal Mail 7.5‑tonne vehicle, perform daily vehicle checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

Load & Go:
Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle.
On the Move:
Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day.
Tech‑Savvy Delivery:
Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures.
Hands‑On Work:
Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Full UK manual (C1) driving licence with no more than six points.
Previous experience driving a 7.5‑tonne vehicle essential.
Sound route knowledge.
Excellent time‑management and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in rain, shine or snow.
