To safely and efficiently deliver automotive parts and products to customers, branches, and distribution centres while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Operate HGV vehicles (Class
1) in accordance with all legal and company requirements. - Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
- Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and transported safely.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
- Comply with all DVSA, tachograph, and drivers’ hours regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation POD (Proof of Delivery) records.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all delivery points.
- Adhere to health & safety policies and safe systems of work at all times.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and present a professional company image.
- Report delays, incidents, or issues promptly to the Transport team.
- Essential Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Essential Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Essential Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Essential Good understanding of UK driving laws and compliance standards
- Essential Strong time management and organisational skills
- Essential Good communication and customer service skills
- Essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable Previous experience in multi-drop delivery.
- Desirable Experience with in the automotive or parts distribution sector.
- Desirable Forklift licence (if applicable to site).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Safety-focused and compliant.
- Professional and courteous.
