Who are we?
ConNRG is committed to accelerating the energy transition by expanding the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) market. We source and supply waste and residues to anaerobic biodigesters, supporting the efficient, economically viable production of biogas and biomethane (green gas), thereby reducing carbon emissions across transport, heavy industry, agriculture, and residential energy.

What will you do?
As a Trader at ConNRG, you’re responsible for building and growing your own commercial portfolio in the renewable feedstock market. You own the complete trading cycle, from sourcing and pricing to negotiation, sales, and margin delivery. Your core focus is to originate and execute biomethane and renewable feedstock transactions across key markets, turning leads into recurring, profitable business flows.

You’ll monitor market developments and translate insights into commercial action, managing risk and margin performance in close coordination with the Operations, Finance, and Sustainability teams. This is a role with real ownership and real impact.

Who are you?
At ConNRG, you’ll work in an innovative environment at the heart of the energy transition. We’re looking for a commercial professional with:

4 - 8 years of experience in trading, sales, or business development.

A background in commodities, energy, feed stocks, agricultural markets, or renewable gas.

A strong “hunter” mentality, you originate, pursue, and close commercial deals.

An entrepreneurial mindset with the ownership and independence to act decisively.

Strong negotiation skills and confidence in pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.

A good understanding of market dynamics, risk, and emerging opportunities.

Excellent communication skills and a talent for building lasting relationships.

A relevant network of customers, suppliers, or market stakeholders is a plus.

Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.

Willingness to work from our Rotterdam and/or Eindhoven office.
