Service Engineer; Marine

Position: Service Engineer (Marine)
€48,000 - €55,000 gross base salary + Overtime + Additional travel pay (Total earnings circa €55,000 - €68,000) + Company Car (with personal use after probation) + 8.33% Holiday pay + 26 days holiday + Pension + Phone + Laptop

This company is a maritime specialist supplying cargo and loading handling solutions into merchant, naval, port and offshore markets. Due to expansion at their Rotterdam site they are looking to grow their market share and expand their specialist division working on a wide variety of marine projects by hiring multiple Service Engineers.

In this role the person will be working at customer locations, primarily in European seas. You will be working on inspection, troubleshooting or repair projects for clients. You will need to be customer‑facing and provide an excellent service to customers. All stays away are fully compensated and overtime paid.

The person will come from a maritime/marine engineering background with experience of electrical, mechanical or hydraulic engineering. You will need to speak fluent English and have an excellent customer manner. Flexibility and willingness to stay away from work is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites across European seas

Inspection, troubleshooting and repair projects

Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic engineering work

50%+ travel including staying away from home

Qualifications

Transferable engineering experience

Comfortable travelling and flexible with their schedule
