Key Requirements

Minimum 18 years of instrumentation (ICSS) engineering experience, with significant exposure to FPSO

Proven track record in Lead or Principal Engineer roles

Strong command of ISA, API, ANSI, NFPA, NEMA standards

Expertise in instrumentation design, specification, installation, and troubleshooting

Experience managing engineering contractors, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams

Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and offshore reliability engineering

Ability to work in high-pressure environments, including turnarounds and field execution

Role Overview

Lead instrumentation engineering across short- and long-term projects

Define and review instrumentation scopes, specifications, and installation guidelines

Conduct technical reviews of vendor designs and ensure compliance with standards

Participate in MOC reviews and provide input into process safety documentation (P&IDs, PSI)

Support procurement with technical specifications and bid evaluations

Provide turnaround support and oversee field execution during outages

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of instrumentation standards
