Senior Project Engineer - Inspection, Repair, Maintenance

Are you an experienced Senior Project Engineer, Offshore Project Engineer or Subsea Project Engineer who wants to work on complex offshore projects in the Rotterdam Region? In this role, you take technical ownership within UXO, EOD, IRM and subsea related projects, working closely with clients, project managers, operations teams, assets and subcontractors.

What you will do
As Senior Project Engineer, you are the technical link between the client, project management, operations and offshore execution. You make sure that projects are prepared, engineered and delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client requirements.

You organise and monitor engineering timelines, project resources, technical documentation and project deliverables from preparation through to completion.

You translate client requirements into practical offshore project plans, including technical scope, safety requirements, equipment needs and operational methods.

You support UXO, EOD and IRM projects by assessing risks, identifying critical success factors and proposing workable technical solutions.

You coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and offshore specialists to make sure equipment, documentation and project planning are ready for execution.

You monitor quality, compliance, budget impact and project progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

You evaluate completed projects, capture lessons learned and help improve processes, standards and working methods for future offshore operations.

What you will bring

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hydrography, Applied Geophysics, Marine Engineering or a comparable technical field.

At least 3 years of experience in UXO, EOD, offshore engineering, subsea operations or a comparable marine project environment.

Experience with offshore wind, oil and gas, renewables, IRM or subsea survey projects is a strong advantage.

Good understanding of quality, safety, compliance and operational requirements within marine or offshore projects.

Strong communication skills in English and the ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.

A self driven and structured way of working, with strong planning, time management and problem solving skills.

A salary range of €5,500 to €8,500 gross per month, depending on experience and seniority.
