Junior Structural Engineer – Industrial & Utility Projects

A leading international design, engineering, and consultancy organization is looking for a motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join their team. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills while working on innovative and sustainable projects in the industrial and utility sectors.

Role Description:

Support the preparation of designs, calculations, and models for structural projects in concrete, steel, and timber.

Collaborate closely with senior engineers and other disciplines to deliver technical solutions.

Assist in applying sustainability, circular design, and innovative digital tools in project work.

Take part in client meetings and contribute to progress and quality discussions.

Learn and grow into taking more independent responsibility for design and engineering tasks.

This role provides the chance to work on multidisciplinary projects where sustainability and innovation are key priorities.

About the Team

You will be part of a Structural Design & Engineering advisory group that focuses on the design, development, and realization of building structures. The team combines technical expertise with innovative approaches, offering strong guidance and mentoring to junior colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for an eager graduate or early-career engineer with a strong interest in structural engineering and sustainable design.

Your profile:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (HBO/WO) or Architecture with structural specialization.

0–3 years of relevant work experience (graduates welcome).

Knowledge of Eurocodes and structural safety guidelines (basic to intermediate level).

Interest in BIM, parametric design, and digital tools (experience is a plus).

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
