Lead Structural Hull Engineer Position Overview

This position delivers reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions to meet project objectives and support sustainability. The role ensures compliance with international codes, industry standards, and regulations, while proactively planning and completing discipline activities and deliverables within agreed time frames and budgets. The selected candidate will define and manage resource requirements, manage interfaces with third parties, and contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned.

• Accountable for selection of methods and procedures, performance of work, and optimization of design within scope and specifications.
• Ensure discipline deliverables are completed in compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proactively plan discipline activities and deliverables within agreed time frames and budgets.
• Define and manage discipline resource needs for projects.
• Deliver scope of work according to contractual requirements and company standards.
• Capture lessons learned and manage change impacts across project boundaries.
• Manage interfaces, including third parties such as clients, subcontractors, vendors, classification societies, and regulatory bodies.
• Act as Principal for assigned scope and/or serve as a Technical Expert or Engineering Method Authority where designated.

• Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline.
• 10 to 15 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
