Site Manager - Offshore Substation Topside Fabrication

Join a major French transmission system operator as Site Manager on a flagship offshore wind grid connection programme. You will represent the client at a tier‑1 fabrication yard near Rotterdam, leading on‑site supervision and control of three successive offshore substation topsides (HVAC product) from construction through to load‑out. As the client's senior on‑site authority, you coordinate all client resources, interface with the EPCI contractor, Marine Warranty Surveyor and certification body, and safeguard quality, HSE, cost and schedule performance across a multi‑year fabrication programme.

Your role

Represent the client at the fabrication yard from construction through to load‑out

Manage all client site teams and resources at the yard

Monitor quality, HSE, cost and schedule performance of the EPCI contractor

Supervise daily work and inspections per ITP, specifications and standards

Report yard operations and contractual deviations to the project package manager

Your profile

12+ years' experience managing yard / shipyard construction works

Offshore substation (OSS) assembly and commissioning, or offshore steel fabrication experience

Painting, coating, outfitting and commissioning of offshore works

Proven ability to defend client interests with shipyard contractors

Professional English (mandatory). French or Dutch a plus.
