Profile Project Procurement Engineer

Do you have experience coordinating complex procurement packages while keeping suppliers, schedules, and stakeholders aligned? Can you ensure critical offshore project packages are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications?

We are looking for a Project Procurement Engineer to coordinate procurement and supply chain activities for complex project packages, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of equipment and materials.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of procurement strategies for assigned project packages.
• Coordinate tendering activities, RFQs, commercial evaluations, and supplier selection processes.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations together with buyers and category managers.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance throughout purchase order execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, expediting, logistics, and project teams to ensure smooth package execution.
• Track procurement schedules, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation actions.
• Monitor purchase order execution regarding schedule, quality, cost, and contractual compliance.
• Support issue resolution related to supplier performance, delivery, or technical/commercial deviations.
• Provide procurement progress updates and reporting to the Project Procurement Manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with in oil & gas, offshore, EPC, or industrial project environments is required.
• Proven experience coordinating procurement activities for complex project packages.
• Experience with supplier management, purchase order execution, and package coordination.
• Strong understanding of procurement workflows, tendering processes, and contract management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary project execution teams.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manage priorities in fast‑paced project environments.
