Position: New Product Introduction Engineer
Become the linchpin between design and production at Den Haan Rotterdam! Industrialize innovative marine lighting and ensure global safety  behalf of Den Haan Rotterdam (DHR),  MARPRO Group is looking for an  NPI Enginer  for the office in Capelle aan den IJssel. You report to the Managing Director of the company.
The job  As NPI Engineer, you are the essential link between the Engineering, Assembly and Production departments. Your main goal is to achieve a smooth transition from product design to series production. You play an active role in the industrialization of new marine products. You assess technical drawings for manufacturability (DfM), testability (DfT) and reproducibility (DfR) to guarantee an efficient start‑up and structural assurance of quality.
Responsibilities   Preparation of work instructions, routings and production documentation.
Coordinating technical changes during ongoing introduction.
You work closely with R&D, assembly and supply chain.
Support in the construction of pre‑series and first production runs.
Participate in the adjustment of processes and tooling.
Identify and implement improvements in the production set‑up.
Providing input for tooling, layout, process order, design reviews and product optimization.
Guidance of transfer moments such as the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
Taking care of transfer files, BOM control and documentation transfer.
In addition, you train and instruct assembly workers in the introduction of new products and provide valuable input for tooling and process optimization.
Qualifications & Experience   Completed HBO or WO education in a technical direction, such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within a production or assembly environment.
Knowledge of DfM/DfT and industrialization processes.
Experience in an OEM environment is a strong advantage.
Good command of the Dutch and English language.
Affinity with the maritime sector and/or safety‑critical products.
Personal characteristics   Strong communication skills and able to effectively connect different disciplines.
Driven and proactive with plenty of room for your own initiative.
Analytical and accurate when reviewing designs and preparing documentation.
A real team player who feels at home in a technically high‑quality environment.
