Are you ready to play a pivotal role in managing critical data flows within complex Oil & Gas projects? As a Project Information Engineer, you will be at the heart of ensuring seamless information management throughout all phases of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). Partnering closely with the Project Information Manager, your expertise will shape how asset information is captured, controlled, and delivered—supporting project success from kickoff to close-out.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Project Information Manager to interpret and implement client-specific information management requirements.
- Develop and finalize information and data specifications integrated into the project setup.
- Work alongside system specialists to ensure project databases and tools are configured to meet project needs.
- Engage with Engineering, Supply Chain, Vendors, Completion, and Quality teams to guarantee data compliance and accuracy.
- Analyze data consistency, compliance, and completeness, generating insightful progress reports.
- Coordinate with project teams and clients to maintain the quality and integrity of delivered information.
- Manage the hand-over of complete project information and documentation in line with agreed procedures.
- Support the preparation of project close-out reports and recommend enhancements to standards and methodologies.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complex information management requirements.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise across multiple project functions.
- Competence in data analytics, reporting, and ensuring data compliance.
- Proficiency in data collection, management, modeling, and treatment.
- Digital‑savvy approach with solid business acumen.
- Must reside within the Netherlands to be considered.
- Experience with data, information, or document management systems and tools.
- Knowledge of system engineering design applications within large‑scale EPC environments.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas project workflows and asset data structures.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Management, Data Management, or a related discipline.
- Hands‑on experience in system engineering scopes or large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams and adapt to changing project demands.
- Willingness to support end‑to‑end project information management activities, including close‑out.
