You bring strong technical skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a challenging environment. You have:
An intermediate or higher vocational qualification in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, and preferably a seaman's book, valid medical certificate and STCW Basic Safety
At least 3 years of experience as a First Electrician or similar role, ideally in maritime or industrial automation
Strong knowledge of PLCs, network systems and remote connection technologies
Familiarity with communication, survey and navigation systems, and optionally with ROVs, offshore cranes, cable lay installations or LNG as fuel
EU work permission; an ETO license is a plus, not a must

As a Ships Electronical Engineer, you make sure our electrical systems are safe, reliable and ready for the future. From scheduled maintenance to smart upgrades, you keep things running. Together with the Chief Engineer, you prepare and discuss modifications, and depending on the task, you work independently or with another specialist. Your key responsibilities:
Maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical systems, including PLCs, drive systems and networks up to 6kV
Supporting technical documentation, logbooks and toolbox meetings
Contributing to safety on board through drills, inspections and compliance with regulations
Exploring or deepening your knowledge in automation, electrical drives and shipboard systems
