Senior Project Engineer - Process & Rotating

Position: Senior Project Engineer - Process & Rotating Packages
Lead and coordinate the technical and administrative activities within complex projects, ensuring project objectives are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and according to schedule.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Coordinate multidisciplinary activities between engineering, procurement and construction teams, ensuring that all technical and project requirements are properly addressed.
Conduct and oversee technical evaluations, risk assessments and feasibility studies to support project decision-making.
Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure key milestones are achieved.
Lead the review of technical documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, safety regulations and project requirements.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, contractors and other external stakeholders throughout the different project phases.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project engineering team and mentor junior project engineers, supporting their professional development and promoting continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Support effective management of contractual changes, costs, budgets, risks, planning and third-party relationships, including subcontracting and negotiations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering within the oil & gas industry.
Existing experience in project management, project engineering,package management required. Core engineering background will not be a fit.
Proven experience with process and rotating equipment packages, preferably within complex oil & gas projects.
Strong experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, procurement and construction activities.
Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of project management principles, including planning, cost and budget control, risk management and contractual change management.
Strong commercial and business acumen, with experience in managing relationships with clients, contractors and other third parties.

Experience with subcontracting and negotiations.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong analytical and technical skills, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international project environment.
