DescriptionMaccreanor Lavington is a multi-award-winning, design-led architecture and urbanism practice with offices in Rotterdam and London. We pride ourselves on shaping places where all can thrive, and our work spans the design and delivery of whole city masterplans to single storey dwellings. Although we work in many sectors we have a particular interest in urban design, residential, and education architecture.
We have an opportunity for a fantastic Office Manager with HR experience to join our team in Rotterdam where you will foster a friendly, inclusive, and professional environment. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the office, creating a workplace where we can do our best work and thrive.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn addition to ensuring the running of the office, you will support various operational activities including Human Resources and Finance. Key elements of this role are the seamless coordination of essential administrative processes and maintaining company compliance with legal requirements to minimise risk and create space for efficient working.
This role offers opportunity for growth, learning, and development particularly in HR and Finance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications- A qualification in a related field including business, administration or HR is preferred but not essential
- Dutch language proficiency
- 3+ years working in an office administration or manager position
- Previous experience working with and supporting management and leadership teams is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a professional creative environment such as Architecture – is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of Dutch Labor laws and HR best practice is high desireable
- Microsoft Office is essential, HRIS systems and accounting software is desirable
- Working knowledge of Arbowet and including RI&E processes

We work under the CAO for Architecture firms and the salary and benefit structure offered is in accordance with the collective agreement. Details of which are available upon request.
