You’re joining an early-stage startup that is already working with leading firms. Backed with €3M in seed funding, we’re now scaling a team of engineers and thinkers who want to solve real problems, drive innovation, and create lasting change in the legal sector.

As a Legal Engineer at Zeno, you’ll be on the frontline of AI adoption in the legal industry. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their workflows, identify pain points, and design tailored solutions that integrate AI into their daily operations. You’ll take on multiple roles: use case developer, problem solver, and strategic advisor. A core part of your mission is to stimulate adoption by driving engagement, demonstrating value early, and helping clients embed our platform into their way of working.

• Provide subject-matter expertise to support the development of high-impact use cases.
• Work closely with our customers and technical team to ensure AI tools align with client workflows and address real needs, enabling seamless adoption.
• Develop, customize, and integrate solutions that streamline legal work.
• Build strong client relationships by visiting offices, supporting integrations, and driving adoption of our AI tools.

• You’re passionate about applying AI to transform knowledge work, particularly in the legal industry.
• You have direct experience in legal practice (e.g. law firm, in‑house, or legal consultancy) and understand how lawyers actually work.
li>You thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is the norm.
• You communicate clearly and confidently across technical and non‑technical teams, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• You’re a native Dutch speaker or have C‑level proficiency in Dutch.

• Experience working directly with clients on implementation, requirements, or technical support.
• Familiarity with legal technology and an understanding of the cultural and operational barriers to tech adoption in law firms.
