We have a great temporary assignment for an interim
Program Manager for a SAP S/4
HANA implementation. It is an implementation in the Netherlands and Germany with international stakeholders in the parent companies. This program is conducted in collaboration with a consultancy company (Supplier). The interim
Program Manager is responsible for managing the business side of the client (around 20 Stream Leads) and acts as a counterpart to the Supplier Program Manager (who also manages around 20 Stream Leads).

Pay, Order2
Cash, Trade & Risk Mngt, Schedule2
Produce, Acquire2require (Assets), Record2
Report, Cross Functional Analytics & Reporting.
The program started beginning of 2026. The business processes have already been documented. The Design Phase is just finished. The implementation phase is set to begin in June and is expected to run until December 2027.
Right now we need an interim Program Manager who can run the implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day delivery of the SAP S/4
HANA Program - Manage PMO governance, reporting frameworks, and delivery controls
- Oversee planning, execution, and tracking of all milestones and work streams
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and formal change control
- Drive resource planning, onboarding, and overall capacity management
- Managing SI commercial models, deliverables, and contractual obligations, including change requests, budget adherence, and performance management
- Ensure alignment of key Steer Co stakeholders and support producing executive-level reporting
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders across Europe to ensure alignment and readiness
Required Experience
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- Significant demonstrable project/program management experience, within SAP transformation environments
- Demonstrable PMO leadership experience on large-scale business transformation programs
- A solid understanding of S/4
HANA delivery models, structures, and methodologies - Experience working with SAP testing tools, particularly in large-scale SAP transformation or S/4
HANA programs - Experience managing cross-functional teams and external system integrators
- A background working with European teams and partners (suppliers)
- Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to challenge constructively, influence decision-making, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Professional certifications (MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, SAP) are highly advantageous
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM)
- The program manager has overall responsibility for the successful completion and delivery of the program. He or she oversees program teams, work streams, quality management, financial management, and the methods, standards and guidelines for the program
- The program manager works closely with the integration and technical leads on the program to ensure that the program solution is meeting its business, functional, and technical requirements
- The program manager is a liaison between client and consultancy/Implementation Partner and has responsibility for maintaining the relationship
